Paramedic – Male Jobs in Doha at We Care Nursing Services
Key Responsibilities
- Emergency Response: Respond swiftly to emergency calls, assessing critical illnesses and trauma scenes to formulate immediate treatment plans.
- Clinical Interventions: Administer medications, establish IV lines, provide advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), dress wounds, and manage fractures independently within the approved scope of practice.
- Patient Monitoring: Utilize specialized equipment such as ventilators, EKGs, and defibrillators while continuously observing patient vital signs en route.
- Handovers & Communication: Liaise directly with hospital emergency departments, ensuring a professional, accurate clinical handover of patient data.
- Ambulance Operation: Safely drive and navigate emergency vehicles in compliance with Qatar’s traffic safety laws.
- Documentation: Maintain highly accurate medical records and complete comprehensive patient care reports.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of field experience in active emergency medical services.
- Certifications: Up-to-date certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and International Trauma Life Support (ITLS).
- Licensure: Must hold a valid DHP license or eligible for or possess a Department of Healthcare Professions (DHP / QCHP) license in Qatar.
