Sewage Truck Driver (Vacuum Tanker Driver)
Job Purpose
The Sewage Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating a vacuum tanker truck to collect, transport, and dispose of sewage, wastewater, and other approved liquid waste in compliance with company procedures and applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate vacuum tanker trucks safely and efficiently.
- Collect, transport, and discharge sewage, wastewater, and approved liquid waste.
- Operate vacuum pumps, hoses, valves, and related equipment.
- Conduct daily vehicle and equipment inspections and report any defects.
- Complete assigned routes and work orders on schedule.
- Maintain accurate trip logs and operational records.
- Comply with all HSE policies, traffic regulations, and company procedures.
- Wear required PPE and prevent spills or environmental contamination.
- Maintain professionalism when dealing with customers and colleagues.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Supervisor or Manager.
Qualifications
- Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
- Previous experience operating heavy vehicles; vacuum tanker experience is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle inspections, road safety, and wastewater handling.
Skills
- Safe driving and equipment operation.
- Good communication and time management.
- Basic mechanical awareness.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Pay: ﷼1,800.00 – ﷼2,500.00 per month
