Supervisor – Solar
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out site activities as instructed by the Site Engineer.
- Supervise technicians and ensure compliance with approved method statements, work instructions, and site safety requirements.
- Supervise the installation of solar PV systems at client sites, including execution as per approved drawings, supervision of labor, and system commissioning.
- Use monitoring and testing tools to obtain required measurements and prepare technical reports.
- Review technical designs and drawings on site to ensure that installation works are carried out correctly.
- Support Operations & Maintenance activities, including thermal scanning, string testing, troubleshooting, and preparation of technical reports, as required.
- Provide technical advice and resolve site-related technical issues.
- Contribute to improving operational processes by identifying and recommending practical alternatives where appropriate.
- Participate in new product development initiatives as required by management.
- Monitor and report any shortages, excesses, or deliveries of site materials.
Education
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field.
Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in solar PV installation, commissioning, O&M, or electrical site works.
- Experience in supervising technicians and site activities is preferred.
