Product Specialist – Infection Prevention & Control Jobs in Doha at Qatar Medical Company
MDC Care is seeking a Product Specialist – Infection Prevention & Control to manage and develop our infection control portfolio across healthcare facilities in the UAE.
The role requires a commercially driven professional with strong scientific knowledge who can confidently engage with infection control teams, CSSD, nursing, clinicians, biomedical engineering, and procurement. The successful candidate will be responsible for product promotion, clinical education, account development, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop sales and market presence for the assigned infection prevention and control portfolio.
- Build strong relationships with Infection Control Practitioners, CSSD teams, nurses, clinicians, biomedical engineers, and procurement departments.
- Conduct scientific product presentations, demonstrations, evaluations, and staff training.
- Understand customer workflows and infection-control challenges and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Develop new accounts while maintaining and growing existing business.
- Follow up on product evaluations, quotations, tenders, and ongoing opportunities.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, market trends, and new technologies.
- Prepare account plans, sales forecasts, and regular opportunity updates.
- Take ownership of the assigned territory and consistently work toward agreed sales targets.
- Coordinate with manufacturers for product training, technical support, and market-development activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Microbiology, Medical Laboratory Sciences, or another relevant healthcare/scientific field.
- 3–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in infection control, medical consumables, CSSD, disinfection, or related hospital products.
- Good understanding of infection prevention principles and hospital workflows.
- Ability to communicate scientifically and confidently with healthcare professionals.
- Strong ability to learn, retain, and communicate detailed clinical and technical product information.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Self-driven, highly motivated, and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated leadership potential and ownership mentality.
- Good presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- UAE market experience is highly preferred.
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
- Fluent English is required; Arabic is an advantage.

Pay: QAR1.00 – QAR2.00 per month
