Job Title: Sr Quantity Surveyor (QS) – Façade and Aluminum Industries

Job Description:
Euro Systems is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor (QS) with expertise in the façade and aluminum industries to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:
Cost Estimation and Budgeting:
Estimate material, labor, and other costs associated with façade and aluminum projects.
Develop detailed cost plans, budgets, and tender documents based on project specifications and requirements.
Analyze and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitiveness and value for money.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to establish accurate cost forecasts and monitor expenditure throughout the project lifecycle.
Quantity Surveying:
Take-off quantities from architectural and engineering drawings for façade and aluminum components.
Prepare bills of quantities (BOQs) and schedules of rates for tendering and procurement purposes.
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and quotes for materials and services.
Negotiate and finalize contracts with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
Monitor and manage variations and change orders, assessing their impact on project costs and schedules.
Cost Control and Reporting:
Monitor project costs against budgeted amounts and identify deviations or cost overruns.
Implement cost control measures to mitigate risks and optimize project profitability.
Prepare accurate and timely cost reports and financial forecasts for project stakeholders.
Provide recommendations for cost-saving opportunities and value engineering initiatives.
Collaborate with project teams to address cost-related issues and optimize resource allocation.
Contract Administration:
Administer contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders involved in façade and aluminum projects.
Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions, including payment schedules and performance criteria.
Manage claims, disputes, and resolution processes in accordance with contract requirements and company policies.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
Proven experience 05 Years Of Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the façade and aluminum industries, with a strong understanding of industry practices and standards.
Proficiency in quantity take-off, cost estimation, and contract administration for construction projects.
Knowledge of relevant software tools and platforms for quantity surveying and cost management (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, MS Excel).
Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and precision in cost estimation and reporting.
