Senior WebMethods Developer & Administrator

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of overall integration/middleware experience, with 5+ years hands-on in webMethods (Integration Server, API Gateway, Universal Messaging).
• Strong understanding of REST/SOAP web services, JSON/XML, and messaging protocols.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes: deployments, services, networking, and troubleshooting containerized workloads.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and scripting (YAML, Shell, Python, or similar).
• Proficiency in SQL, stored procedures, and data engineering/transformation tasks.
• Solid understanding of clustering and high-availability concepts (Terracotta, load balancers, shared databases).
• Strong analytical, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Good communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to cross-functional teams.

Good to Have

• Software AG webMethods certification.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP).
• Experience with API management tools beyond webMethods.
• Prior experience presenting architecture/design to technical and business stakeholders.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
