Job Summary
The IT Solution Architect is responsible for designing and overseeing end-to-end technology solutions using Microsoft Azure. The role ensures that solutions meet business requirements, are scalable, secure, cost-effective, and aligned with enterprise architecture and IT standards.
Detailed Responsibility
§ Design end-to-end cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure that meet business, technical, security, and performance requirements
§ Analyze business needs and translate them into scalable, secure, and cost-effective solution architectures
§ Define application, data, integration, and infrastructure architectures aligned with enterprise standards
§ Select appropriate Azure services and ensure their correct and efficient usage
§ Incorporate security, identity, networking, and governance controls into solution designs
§ Support cloud migration and modernization of existing systems to Azure
§ Provide technical guidance to development and infrastructure teams during implementation
§ Review solution designs and technical documents to ensure architectural consistency and quality
§ Design for high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity
§ Optimize solutions for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
§ Maintain architecture diagrams, documentation, and standards
§ Collaborate with security, DevOps, data, and operations teams to ensure successful delivery
Required Skills and Competencies
§ Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture
§ Experience with cloud networking, identity, security, and governance
§ Knowledge of application architecture, APIs, and system integrations
§ Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code concepts
§ Strong analytical, design, and problem-solving skills
§ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Qualifications
§ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
§ 5–8 years of experience in IT architecture, solution design, or cloud roles
§ Microsoft Azure certifications preferred:
w Azure Solutions Architect Expert
w Azure Administrator / Developer
§ Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments is an advantage
