Mashriq Elite Real Estate Development LLC is seeking a highly competent, detail-oriented, and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must have proven experience in the contracting and interior design industry, with extensive expertise in project costing, BOQ (Bill of Quantities), quotation preparation, and project estimation. The candidate should also possess hands-on knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and material specifications, enabling effective cost analysis, budgeting, and financial control of construction and interior fit-out projects.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the contracting and interior design industry.
- Proven experience in project costing, BOQ (Bill of Quantities), quotation preparation, and project estimation with hands-on knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and material specifications.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and project accounting.
- Ability to analyze project costs, budgets, and profitability with changing/update quality & quantities.
- Excellent understanding of procurement and cost control processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting.
- Prepare and monitor project budgets, costing, and profitability analysis.
- Review and prepare BOQs, quotations, and project estimates.
- Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure accurate project costing.
- Monitor project expenditures and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Prepare monthly financial project reports, reconciliations, and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Support audits, tax filings, and other statutory requirements.
