Quantity Surveyor (QS) – Construction Jobs in Doha at Alhamal Trading & Contracting W.L.L.
AL Hamal Trading and Contracting W.L.L. is seeking a qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, contract administration, and financial management of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents
- Evaluate contractor quotations and prepare comparison reports
- Manage project costs and ensure budget control
- Handle variations, claims, and contract administration
- Prepare interim valuations and final accounts
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and project specifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3–7 years of experience in construction and contracting
- Strong knowledge of QS practices, contracts, and cost control
- Experience in the Qatar/GCC market is preferred
- Proficiency in Excel and relevant QS software
- Good communication and negotiation skills
Preferred:
- Arabic speaker is preferred
- Ability to handle both QS and contract engineering tasks
