SHENGG is seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within our oil and gas fabrication facility. The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, promoting a strong safety culture, and ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with UAE laws, client requirements, and company safety standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits in workshops and project sites.
- Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and method statements.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions for employees and subcontractors.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure compliance.
- Coordinate emergency drills and maintain emergency response plans.
- Maintain HSE records, permits, and documentation.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities regarding safety matters.
- Ensure proper implementation of fire prevention and environmental protection measures.
- Support management in achieving company HSE objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
Pay: AED4,000.00 – AED6,000.00 per month
