Job Opportunity: Quantity Surveyor (QS)
​We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Sharjah], UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all costs relating to our construction and technical services projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures.
​Key Responsibilities:
​Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQ) for various projects.
​Monitor project progress and track construction costs against the budget.
​Manage tendering processes, including analyzing quotations and preparing tender documents.
​Prepare and process progress payments, variations, and final accounts.
​Conduct regular site visits to assess work progress and ensure alignment with contract specifications.
​Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project management teams to ensure cost-efficiency.
​Maintain accurate project documentation and provide timely reports to senior management.
​Requirements:
​Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
​3 years of experience in the UAE construction/contracting sector (preferably with a focus on technical services).
​Proficiency in estimation software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
​Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and local UAE construction regulations.
​Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
​Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
