The Procurement Specialist – Camps Leasing is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing labor camps and staff accommodation facilities to support workforce housing requirements. The role focuses on securing suitable accommodation at competitive rates while ensuring compliance with contractual, safety, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
– Source and evaluate labor camps and accommodation providers.
– Negotiate lease agreements, rental rates, and contract terms.
– Manage relationships with camp operators and landlords.
– Coordinate accommodation needs with HR, Administration, and Operations teams.
– Monitor accommodation costs and identify savings opportunities.
– Ensure camps comply with health, safety, and government regulations.
– Conduct site inspections and evaluate facility standards.
– Maintain lease records and prepare procurement reports.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related field.
– 4–8 years of experience in procurement, leasing, accommodation, facilities management, or related industries.
– Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract administration skills.
Preferred Background: Experience working as a Procurement Specialist handling camps leasing, accommodation leasing, or property leasing within the Real Estate, Construction, Hospitality, or Facilities Management industry is a plus.
