Procurement Engineer (Civil) Jobs in Dubai at GBH International Group
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Procurement Engineer (Civil) with 4–5 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, preparing purchase orders, and ensuring the timely procurement of construction materials and services for civil projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and material requirements.
- Source and procure civil construction materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Work closely with project, planning, and site teams to meet procurement schedules.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor material availability and ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with the QA/QC and engineering teams for material approvals.
- Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and cost reports.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and project requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 4–5 years of experience as a Procurement Engineer in a civil contracting company, preferably in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction materials, suppliers, and procurement processes.
- Experience in sourcing, vendor evaluation, and contract negotiation.
- Familiarity with BOQs, technical specifications, and construction drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and ERP/procurement systems.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple procurement activities and meet project deadlines.
Pay: AED5,000.00 – AED7,000.00 per month
