Salary: AED 8,000 – 12,000 per month (Based on Experience)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join a leading construction company in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Candidates with UAE construction experience, particularly in high-rise residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments, will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and monitor detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Prepare project baseline schedules, look-ahead plans, and recovery schedules.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays and risks.
- Analyze project performance and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Perform critical path analysis and resource planning.
- Track procurement, material delivery, and construction activities against project schedules.
- Ensure compliance with contractual milestones and project deadlines.
- Support tender planning and prepare construction programs for new projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in the construction industry.
- Strong experience in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Experience in high-rise buildings, commercial, residential, or villa construction projects.
- Sound knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and project controls.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- UAE experience is preferred.
- Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
