We are looking for an anesthesia technician with a DHA license/eligibility to join our healthcare team.
Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment, ensuring that all devices are functioning correctly before each surgical procedure.
Assist anesthesiologists during the administration of anesthesia, providing real-time support and monitoring patient responses.
Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized.
Monitor and document patient vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout procedures, alerting the anesthesiologist to any concerns.
Participate in the setup and breakdown of the operating room, ensuring all supplies are stocked and readily available.
Conduct regular inventory checks of anesthesia supplies and medications, placing orders to maintain optimal stock levels.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols related to anesthesia practices and equipment usage.
Provide support during emergency situations, including the ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions swiftly.
Collaborate with surgical teams to create a seamless workflow, enhancing overall patient care and surgical efficiency.
Qualifications: minimum of 2 years of experience as an anesthesia technician.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
