Parts Advisor – Multi-Brand Garage (UAE)
We are looking for an experienced Parts Advisor to manage sourcing, purchasing, and inventory of automotive spare parts for a fast-paced multi-brand garage in the UAE. The role requires strong knowledge of different vehicle brands, local suppliers, and aftermarket parts, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement to support workshop operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure spare parts for multiple vehicle brands (Japanese, European, American, Korean, etc.) to support service and repair operations.
- Ensure parts are available on time by coordinating with technicians and service advisors for daily workshop requirements.
- Maintain optimal stock levels and avoid overstocking or shortages through proper inventory planning.
- Identify correct parts using EPC systems, VIN decoding, and supplier catalogs to ensure accuracy.
- Negotiate with local and international suppliers to achieve cost-effective purchasing.
- Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure parts are received within agreed timelines (ETA).
- Handle parts returns, warranty claims, and defective items with vendors.
- Maintain proper storage, labeling, and stock organization within the parts department. (Bayt.com)
- Support workshop efficiency by ensuring quick turnaround on urgent/VOR (Vehicle Off Road) parts.
- Track parts usage, prepare reports, and assist in cost control and profitability.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years experience in automotive spare parts (preferably multi-brand garage or dealership).
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts across multiple brands.
- Experience with EPC systems, VIN lookup, and inventory software (SAP, Autoline, etc.).
- Good supplier network in UAE (local dealers, aftermarket suppliers, scrap markets).
- Strong negotiation and procurement skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced workshop environment.
- Good communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Automotive Engineering or related field. (GulfTalent)
- UAE driving license (preferred for supplier visits).
- Experience in UAE automotive market (especially Dubai spare parts hubs like Ras Al Khor, Sharjah).
