About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Parotha / Chapati Maker to join our restaurant team in Qatar. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in preparing different types of parothas, chapatis, sandwiches, and other South Asian food items and understand the taste and preferences of customers in Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh parothas, chapatis, rotis, and different types of sandwiches.
- Prepare various fillings, sauces, and accompaniments for sandwiches and parothas.
- Maintain consistent taste, quality, texture, and presentation.
- Prepare different recipes according to customer preferences and restaurant standards.
- Suggest and develop new recipes and food items for the restaurant menu.
- Assist management in preparing and improving the food menu.
- Ensure proper preparation, portion control, and presentation of food.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the preparation and cooking area.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients.
- Minimize food wastage and use ingredients efficiently.
- Maintain quality and consistency during busy working hours.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Requirements
- 4–5 years of restaurant experience in Qatar.
- Strong practical experience in making parothas and chapatis.
- Good experience in preparing different types of sandwiches and fillings.
- Good knowledge of South Asian recipes and restaurant food preparation.
- Understanding of Qatar customer taste and restaurant standards.
- Ability to create and suggest new recipes and menu items.
- Talented, hardworking, creative, and responsible.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Good knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
- Previous experience in a busy restaurant environment is preferred.
- Good communication skills in English, Hindi, or Malayalam.
- Arabic language skills will be an advantage.
Pay: QAR2,000.00 – QAR2,500.00 per month
