Job Summary
Al Abbas Group is looking for a skilled Technician – Multiskilled Support to join our Facilities Management team in Dubai.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in air conditioning (HVAC) and electrical maintenance, with the ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance across commercial and residential building systems. Experience in other building maintenance disciplines will be considered an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC and electrical systems.
- Diagnose and repair air conditioning units, split ACs, package units, FCUs, AHUs, and other HVAC equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including lighting, wiring, DB panels, switches, sockets, and related equipment.
- Carry out routine inspections and scheduled preventive maintenance.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.
- Install, replace, and test HVAC and electrical components as required.
- Assist with minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance works when needed.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and report technical issues to supervisors.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company policies and health & safety standards.
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience as an MEP Technician, HVAC Technician, Electrical Technician, or in a similar Facilities Management role.
- Diploma or vocational qualification in Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical, or a related technical field.
- Mandatory hands-on experience in Air Conditioning (HVAC) and Electrical maintenance.
- Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance for commercial and residential buildings.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance is an advantage.
- Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and maintenance manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic English communication skills.
Pay: Up to AED2,500.00 per month
