Job Title: Planning Engineer (MEP & District Cooling Plant)

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Planning Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in MEP works and District Cooling Plant projects. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, resource planning, and reporting to ensure the successful execution of projects within the specified timeline and budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, update, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Develop baseline programs, recovery plans, and look-ahead schedules.
- Monitor project progress and identify schedule deviations.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure timely project execution.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Analyze project delays and prepare extension of time (EOT) claims when required.
- Track manpower, materials, equipment, and productivity against project schedules.
- Support tender planning and preparation of project execution schedules.
- Ensure compliance with project milestones and contractual requirements.
- Assist in risk assessment and mitigation planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering,
- 2–5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in MEP and District Cooling Plant projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
- Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
- Familiarity with District Cooling Plant systems, chilled water networks, and MEP installations.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on large-scale District Cooling Plant projects.
- Experience in UAE projects will be an advantage
- Knowledge of local authority regulations and standards
- Primavera P6 certification is an advantage.
Salary: AED 3000 – 5000 per month
Joining: Immediate or as per availability.
Pay: AED3,000.00 – AED5,000.00 per month
