Position: Mechanical / Electrical Engineer – MEP Estimation & Quantity Surveying

Job Summary
We are looking for a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with approximately 2 years of experience in MEP construction, with exposure to estimation, quantity surveying (QS), and project costing.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare MEP project estimates, BOQs, and quantity take-offs.
- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Prepare material and labour cost estimates.
- Assist in preparing quotations and tender submissions.
- Perform quantity surveying and monitor project quantities.
- Coordinate with project, procurement, and site teams.
- Evaluate subcontractor/vendor quotations and compare prices.
- Track variations, additional works, and cost implications.
- Maintain estimation and QS documentation and records.
- Support project cost control and commercial activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in MEP construction.
- Practical experience in MEP estimation and QS.
- Good understanding of MEP drawings, BOQs, and quantity take-offs.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel; experience with AutoCAD and estimation/QS software is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
Preferred Candidate
Candidates with hands-on experience in MEP contracting/construction, estimation, quantity surveying, tendering, and project costing will be preferred.
