Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with 4–5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking and network security. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Cisco networking technologies, FortiGate firewalls, and network troubleshooting, along with experience supporting CCTV and Video Management Systems (VMS). The candidate should be capable of independently implementing, managing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure while ensuring high availability and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Cisco routers and switches.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VLAN, routing, and switching environments.
- Configure and manage FortiGate firewalls, VPNs, NAT, firewall policies, and Access Control Lists (ACLs).
- Configure and troubleshoot Port Channels and Spanning Tree Protocol (STP).
- Monitor network performance and proactively resolve network issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot CCTV and Video Management Systems (VMS).
- Perform firmware upgrades, system maintenance, and backup of network devices.
- Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and technical reports.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams during project implementation and support activities.
- Ensure network security best practices are followed across the infrastructure.
RequirementsEducation
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- 4–5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering.
- Strong experience with Cisco routers and switches.
- Hands-on experience configuring and managing FortiGate firewalls.
- Experience with VPNs, NAT, ACLs, VLANs, and enterprise routing and switching.
- Experience supporting CCTV and Video Management Systems (VMS) is preferred.
