HVAC Technician

Responsibilities:
-Plans, monitors, installs and adjusts the full range of heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment by means of an energy management system hands-on work
-Troubleshoots, maintains, modifies and repairs heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems and equipment including, reciprocating chillers, rotary screw chillers, heat exchangers, fans and fan motors, pumps and pump motors, electric and pneumatic controls, and associated safety, over current and other equipment protection devices ensuring that they operate at peak efficiency and conserve energy usage
-Troubleshoot issues with wall mounted, split, package, roof units
-Performs installation of mechanical systems to include piping and modifications to existing facility’s cooling systems
-Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on packaged units, split coil systems, air compressors, pumps, air handlers, air cooled condensers, reciprocating chillers, rotary screw chillers, and various heat exchangers
-Perform repairs or adjustments on piping connections, valves, couplings and fittings by riveting, bolting, welding, brazing, and soldering applying hand tools, drill press, etc
-Perform routine maintenance on air conditioning systems, including cleaning and replacing filters, checking refrigerant levels, and inspecting electrical components.
Requirements:
-Minimum of 2 years working experience in maintaining Air Conditioners.
-2 years full time Diploma/Trade Certificate in Air Conditioning
-Ability to work independently
-Strong knowledge of the methods, practices, test instruments, tools, and materials typically applied in repairing and servicing various air conditioning systems, and other similar equipment
-Malayalam/Tamil/Hindi Speaker
