Job Summary
Blaura Wellness & Fitness Center is seeking an experienced and hands-on HR Manager to lead the overall HR function during our pre-opening phase and beyond.The ideal candidate must have strong pre-opening/start-up HR experience, preferably within wellness, fitness, spa, hospitality, luxury lifestyle, or another high-volume service environment.
This role requires someone who can build HR structures and processes from the ground up, lead pre-opening recruitment and workforce mobilization, and manage the full employee lifecycle while remaining hands-on with daily HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the overall HR function from pre-opening through full operations.
Establish HR policies, procedures, systems, employee records, HR documentation, and HR controls.
Develop organizational structures, manpower plans, job descriptions, grading, and staffing requirements.
Lead pre-opening recruitment, onboarding, and workforce mobilization across all departments.
Manage the full employee lifecycle, including contracts, probation, attendance, leave, transfers, promotions, resignations, terminations, and offboarding.
Manage employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, investigations, and performance concerns.
Oversee payroll coordination, compensation and benefits, medical insurance, and employee-related administration.
Manage performance management, training, employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture initiatives.
Coordinate with Management, Department Heads, Finance, Payroll, and PRO on HR and employee matters.
Ensure full compliance with UAE Labour Law and Company policies.Maintain HRIS, employee databases, HR reports, manpower trackers, and management dashboards.
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 5–8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably at HR Manager / Assistant HR Manager / Senior HR Generalist level.
Pre-opening or start-up HR experience is highly preferred.Previous experience within a wellness, fitness, spa, hospitality, or luxury service concept is a strong advantage.
Experience establishing HR processes and systems from the ground up.
Strong experience in recruitment, HR operations, employee relations, payroll coordination, performance management, and HR compliance.Strong practical knowledge of UAE Labour Law.
Experience managing a high-volume and diverse workforce.
Strong Excel and HRIS skills.
Excellent communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.Professional, confident, approachable, and highly organized.
Must be hands-on, proactive, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced pre-opening/start-up environment.
Pay: AED10,000.00 – AED12,000.00 per month
