HSE Manager Jobs in Dubai at Site and Power Solution
The Manager – Health & Safety provides leadership, training and operational support to all levels of the organization and across all functional groups. S/He issues policies and guidelines and ensures, in accordance with the corporate standards, the implementation, update, review and audit of the Company HSE Systems.
Technical and Operations
– Develop, implement and sustain the SDK HSE Management System and ensure compliance with local legal and client specific HSE requirements;
– Assist, advise, and train the Project Management Team on HSE requirements, project hazards and risks, and necessary control measures, while implementing SDK policies and procedures;
– Coordinate project execution by collaborating with the Projects Director and Project Management team;
– Raise awareness, monitor performance, and report key issues and statistical data to the management;
– Manage and coordinate the efforts of the HSE team, ensuring support and cooperation from construction teams and related departments;
– Ensure HSE compliance and performance with clients, consultants, and other relevant stakeholders;
– Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions;
– Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, near misses, and environmental spills internally and with third parties as per the approved inspection program of the company;
– Develop, facilitate and review HSE risk assessments for routine and non-routine activities in consultation with the team;
– Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to health, safety, and environment;
Talent Development
– Lead and coach the team cultivating empowerment and ownership;
– Develop capabilities and secure a solid succession plan;
Conduct regular performance reviews, identify training needs and oversee development plans.
Qualifications/Skills
– Health and Safety Credentials (NEBOSH Idip or any other Level 6 diploma except British Council diploma in OH&S)
– ISO Certifications (45001 & 14001)
– Risk assessment/management
