General Maintenance Technician (Holiday Homes)

About the Role
Vogue Vacation Homes is looking for a reliable and experienced General Maintenance Technician to join our operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance across our portfolio of holiday homes to ensure every property is maintained to the highest standards for our guests.
This role requires someone who is hands-on, well-organized, and able to work independently while responding quickly to maintenance requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of apartments and villas.
- Carry out repairs related to electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, drywall, tiling, and general handyman work.
- Diagnose maintenance issues and complete repairs efficiently.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
- Install, repair, and replace fixtures, fittings, and household appliances.
- Conduct AC filter cleaning and basic HVAC maintenance (knowledge of AC systems is an advantage).
- Coordinate with external contractors when specialized work is required.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records.
- Report major repair requirements to the Operations Manager.
- Support apartment setup, furniture assembly, and minor refurbishment projects when needed.
- Ensure all properties are guest-ready before check-in.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in general maintenance.
- Experience in residential buildings, hotels, serviced apartments, or holiday homes.
- Experience in Holiday Homes or Hospitality is a strong advantage.
- Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory).
- Good knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repair work.
- Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues independently.
- Basic English communication skills (Arabic is an advantage).
- Physically fit and willing to travel between properties across Dubai.
- Positive attitude, reliable, and able to work under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Holiday Homes or Vacation Rental properties.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance schedules.
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems.
- Experience using maintenance management apps or reporting systems.

Pay: AED4,000.00 – AED5,000.00 per month
