Job Overview
Al Ameen Industries is currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman to join our growing wooden factory. In this role, you will serve as the vital link between our design concepts and the production floor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, joinery, or furniture manufacturing, with the ability to translate technical requirements into actionable manufacturing plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting & Design: Create highly detailed and accurate 2D and 3D AutoCAD shop drawings for wooden products, furniture, and joinery projects.
- Cutting Lists: Generate precise and comprehensive cutting lists and material take-offs for the production team to minimize waste and ensure efficiency.
- Factory Coordination: Work closely with the factory manager and carpenters to ensure drawings are executed correctly and resolve any technical issues during manufacturing.
- Quality Control: Ensure all designs and measurements comply with project specifications, structural integrity standards, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as an AutoCAD Draftsman specifically within a wooden factory, joinery, or furniture manufacturing environment.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD software; familiarity with other 3D modeling software (e.g., SketchUp, Cabinet Vision) is a plus.
- In-depth understanding of wood materials, joinery techniques, hardware, and factory production processes.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
