Floor Plan Inspector / Reviewer
We are seeking a detail-oriented Floor Plan Inspector / Reviewer to review and verify submitted exhibition floor plans and layouts in accordance with DWTC venue requirements, safety standards, and operational guidelines. The role is responsible for identifying potential layout issues, ensuring accurate dimensions and positioning, and coordinating with exhibitors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure plans are suitable for approval and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Review floor plans and stand designs to make sure they follow DWTC requirements.
- Check stand sizes, floor areas, entrances, exits, aisles, and access routes.
- Check fire safety, emergency access, and required clearances.
- Make sure stands, doors, ramps, counters, and other structures are correctly positioned.
- Identify incorrect dimensions, obstructions, or other issues in the plans.
- Compare drawings with approved venue layouts and event requirements.
- Give clear comments and corrections to exhibitors, designers, and contractors.
- Coordinate with venue, operations, safety, and event teams about technical issues.
- Review revised drawings and make sure all corrections are completed.
- Keep records of drawings, comments, approvals, and pending issues.
- Report serious safety, access, structural, or compliance issues to the relevant department.
- Support site inspections to ensure the actual setup matches the approved plan
Requirements
- Previous experience in floor plan review, exhibition/event operations, venue management, technical coordination, or architectural inspection.
- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, CAD plans, layouts, and technical documents.
- Good understanding of dimensions, spatial planning, access requirements, and basic health & safety principles.
- Familiarity with DWTC venue requirements and exhibition industry standards is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies quickly.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or relevant drawing and plan-review software is an advantage.

Pay: AED7,000.00 – AED8,500.00 per month
