We are now looking for a seasoned Estimation Manager to lead our tendering and cost management function as we continue to grow.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and client-facing Estimation Manager with 12–15 years in the aluminium and façade industry to own and lead the full estimation function at Euro Systems. This is a senior leadership role that places you at the front face of our business — representing Euro Systems directly with clients, consultants, and main contractors during the bidding and negotiation process, while simultaneously leading the estimation team and driving cost planning and value engineering internally. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong commercial presence and the confidence to engage at the highest levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Euro Systems directly in front of clients, main contractors, and façade consultants during tender clarifications, bid presentations, and commercial negotiations.
- Lead and manage the end-to-end estimation process for all aluminium, glazing, façade, and curtain wall tenders and enquiries.
- Analyse tender documents, architectural drawings, specifications, and BOQs to produce detailed and competitive cost estimates.
- Drive value engineering initiatives in collaboration with the design and engineering teams to strengthen bid competitiveness without compromising quality.
- Prepare and present polished bid submissions including pricing breakdowns, technical clarifications, and executive-level commercial summaries.
- Build and maintain a robust database of unit rates, supplier pricing, and subcontractor quotations to ensure fast and accurate estimating at all times.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with key suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to secure the most competitive rates in the market.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the estimation team, setting high standards for accuracy, turnaround speed, and commercial thinking.
- Work closely with the sales and business development teams to align estimates with client expectations and project strategies.
- Conduct post-tender reviews and win/loss analysis to continuously sharpen estimation accuracy and improve bid success rates.
- Ensure smooth handover of awarded projects to the delivery team with clear communication of cost assumptions, scope boundaries, and contract terms.
- Report estimation pipeline activity, bid outcomes, and market intelligence to senior leadership regularly.
Requirements
- 12–15 years of estimation experience in the aluminium, glazing, façade, or curtain wall industry — UAE experience is essential.
- Strong client-facing background with proven ability to represent the company confidently in front of senior stakeholders, consultants, and decision-makers.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing an estimation or tendering team.
- Deep technical knowledge of aluminium systems, curtain wall, structural glazing, minimal façade systems, and related architectural products.
- Proven commercial acumen — able to strike the right balance between competitive pricing and healthy project margins.
- Expertise in quantity take-off, BOQ preparation, and detailed cost planning across all project stages.
- Advanced proficiency in estimation software, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office — particularly Excel.
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and challenge complex architectural drawings, façade specifications, and contract documents.
- Well-versed in UAE construction contracts (FIDIC, NEC) and industry procurement practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English — Arabic is a strong advantage.
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
