Driver (Light & Heavy Vehicle) Jobs in Dubai at Al Ummah Contractors
We are looking for a responsible and safety-conscious Driver to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate must hold a valid UAE Light Vehicle (Category 3) and Heavy Vehicle (Category 6) driving license and have experience transporting employees safely between labor camps, construction sites, and other assigned locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport employees to and from assigned locations, including labor camps and construction sites.
- Operate light and heavy vehicles in compliance with UAE traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Follow assigned schedules and routes while remaining flexible to operational requirements.
- Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is clean, roadworthy, and in good working condition.
- Report any mechanical issues, damages, accidents, or maintenance requirements to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure all required documents are up to date.
- Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle inspections.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials or equipment when required.
- Carry out other transportation duties assigned by the company.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid UAE Driving License – Category 3 (Light Vehicle) and Category 6 (Heavy Bus/Heavy Vehicle).
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of UAE traffic laws and road safety regulations.
- Good knowledge of Dubai roads and surrounding areas.
- Basic communication skills in English.
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience transporting laborers or large groups of employees.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and routine inspections.
- Familiarity with labor camp and construction site operations.
- Punctual, reliable, and committed to maintaining high safety standards.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: AED 2,800 per month
- Working Hours: 8 Hours per Day + Overtime
