Job Summary
A leading construction company in Dubai is seeking an experienced Estimation Engineer with expertise in Villa and High-Rise Building projects. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5+ years of UAE experience and possess strong knowledge of both Pre-Tender and Post-Tender estimation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and detailed cost estimates.
- Analyze project scope and identify potential risks and cost-saving opportunities.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare technical and commercial tender submissions within deadlines.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams during the tender stage.
- Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project costs.
- Participate in tender negotiations and clarification meetings with clients.
- Handle post-tender activities, including budget preparation, cost control, procurement support, and project handover.
- Monitor project costs and provide regular cost reports to management.
- Ensure compliance with UAE construction standards and project specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of UAE experience as an Estimation Engineer.
- Proven experience in Villa and High-Rise Building projects.
- Strong knowledge of Pre-Tender and Post-Tender estimation processes.
- Experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, tendering, and contract documentation.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict tender submission deadlines.
