Phoenix Technologies is a UAE based company specializing in Color Management solutions. We supply and service instruments like Spectrophotometers, Epson printers and other types of QC equipments — to clients across print & packaging, FMCG, textiles, paints, ceramics, and more.
About the Role
We’re looking for an Electronic Technician to join our service team, primarily supporting the calibration, testing, and repair of precision electronic instruments such as spectrophotometers. Prior spectrophotometer experience is not mandatory. If you have a solid understanding of electronics and if you are comfortable handling sensitive instruments, we will provide training on the specifics.
Key Responsibilities
- Calibrate, test, and troubleshoot electronic measurement instruments
- Diagnose and repair faults in electronic circuits, sensors, and precision devices
- Support installation and setup of instruments at client sites
- Maintain accurate service records and calibration logs
- Provide basic technical support to clients as needed
- Coordinate shipments and communications of the instruments which have to be sent to the manufacturer out of the UAE.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field
- 0–2 years of hands-on experience with electronic instruments, circuits, or equipment repair
- Comfortable working with precision/sensitive equipment
- Good understanding of basic electronic components, circuits, and testing tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical, patient approach to diagnostics
- Willingness to learn specialized calibration procedures
- Good communication skills in English.
Pay: AED4,000.00 – AED6,000.00 per month
