About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Electrician & General Building Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical installation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and general building repair work across our factory, showroom, offices, and company facilities.
This role is ideal for someone who has strong electrical knowledge and is also experienced in construction, maintenance, and renovation work.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, inspect, and repair electrical systems, wiring, lighting, sockets, switches, circuit breakers, and distribution boards.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently and safely.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of buildings and facilities.
- Perform general building maintenance including basic plumbing, painting, tiling, gypsum, masonry, carpentry, and repair work.
- Assist with renovation, fit-out, and construction projects.
- Install electrical equipment, machinery, and fixtures.
- Maintain factory equipment and ensure electrical systems operate safely.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance issues before they become major problems.
- Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and electrical regulations.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records.
- Respond quickly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
- Support other departments with maintenance and technical tasks when required.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrician with general building maintenance experience.
- Strong knowledge of electrical installations, maintenance, and fault finding.
- Experience in construction, renovations, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to perform basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, gypsum, tiling, and masonry work.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and technical diagrams.
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple maintenance tasks.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physically fit and able to perform hands-on work.
- UAE experience is preferred.
- UAE Driving Licence is an advantage but not mandatory.
