- To ensure the serviceability of all equipment and systems under his department. To ensure that electrical maintenance works and installations are carried out in compliance with the applicable local and internal regulations. Responsible for effective and proper use of all resources and manpower with all aspects associated to the work.
- To carryout preventive maintenance (on both electrical LV and generators) checks as per programme to detect potential problems before gets failure.
- Assist in the response to any emergency or major operational disruption affecting Qatar Airways or its subsidiaries, including support of the Qatar Airways Special Assistance Program.
- Take a direct and personal interest in reported injuries, incidents, near misses and hazardous to ensure that appropriate reporting, investigation and response is being achieved.
Qualifications About you
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in a similar capacity
- Testing and commissioning of LV and ELV systems
- Ability to provide technical findings if any incident
- Good oral/written communication skills in English
- Valid Qatar Driving License is an advantage
- To be able to carry out fault finding on all types of electrical systems
