Our Data Platform team is responsible for designing, scaling, and maintaining the backbone that empowers internal teams and customer-facing applications with reliable, high-performance data systems.
As a Data Infrastructure Engineer , you will work on complex challenges—from scaling distributed systems and optimizing data pipelines, to building highly available services that power critical business decisions. This role requires a blend of infrastructure engineering, systems thinking, and a strong foundation in data technologies.
What You’ll Do
Design and Build Scalable Systems :
Architect and implement distributed data infrastructure including compute, orchestration, streaming, and storage systems.
Performance and Reliability :
Ensure our platforms can handle large-scale data processing with low latency, high availability, and fault tolerance.
Dev Ops Excellence :
Work with tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI / CD systems to automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment.
Empower Engineering Teams :
Develop internal tooling and infrastructure capabilities to enable data scientists, analysts, and engineers to move faster and safer.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally :
Partner with product, analytics, and platform teams to build reliable foundations for data products and services.
Support and On-Call :
Participate in a shared on-call rotation to ensure the operational excellence and health of the systems you build.
Requirements
Have 4+ years of experience in data infrastructure engineering or in infrastructure / SRE roles with a deep interest in data systems.
Take pride in building scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure.
Are comfortable working with distributed systems, debugging performance issues, and managing complex deployments.
Enjoy working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a focus on learning and growth.
Communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively across teams.
