About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Cost Control Officer with proven experience in the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry. The successful candidate will monitor food and beverage costs, manage inventory, and ensure cost-effective operations while maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze daily food and beverage costs.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile stock variances.
- Review purchase orders, invoices, supplier pricing, and stock movements.
- Ensure accurate food and beverage costing, including menu costing and recipe costing.
- Analyze wastage, spoilage, and operational losses, and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Kitchen, Restaurant Operations, and Finance to maintain cost controls.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cost control reports.
- Monitor inventory turnover and ensure proper stock management.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and internal control procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of Cost Control experience in the F&B industry.
- F&B experience is a must.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, food costing, and cost analysis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/POS/ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be locally available in Qatar.
- Can join immediately.
Pay: QAR123.00 – QAR456.00 per month
