Automotive Buyer & Inventory Specialist (Qatar-Based)Job OverviewWe are looking for a motivated, locally based Car sourcing to manage our end-to-end vehicle acquisition and consignment process in Qatar. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our "easy sell/buy" car service. Your responsibility will be to evaluate customer vehicles, negotiate fair prices, and successfully bring high-quality inventory into our company for resale or consignment.This position requires immediate availability. Candidates must be currently residing in Qatar and ready to join immediately. Key Responsibilities
- Vehicle Evaluation: Inspect physical conditions, mechanical health, and vehicle history reports to determine accurate market value.
- Pricing & Valuation: Utilize local market data, valuation tools, and current Qatar trends to generate competitive buying and consignment offers.
- Inventory Sourcing: Convince private sellers to our platform, converting inquiries into company inventory or consignment agreements.
- Negotiation & Closing: Walk customers through the appraisal reports, negotiate final payout amounts, and close deals efficiently.
- Documentation & Compliance: Handle all legal paperwork required in Qatar, including Metrash2 transfers, traffic department coordination, and consignment contracts. [1, 2]
- Logistics Coordination: Arrange for the safe transport and onboarding of newly acquired vehicles into our system.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Location: Must be a current resident of Qatar.
- Availability: Immediate joiners only (no notice periods).
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in Qatar’s automotive sales, car buying, or vehicle appraisal sectors.
- Car Knowledge: Deep understanding of automotive mechanics, common vehicle issues, and fluctuating local market values.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong sales and communication abilities to handle customer objections smoothly.
- Driver’s License: A valid, clean Qatar Driving License is mandatory.
- Language: Bilingual (English and Arabic) is highly preferred to handle a diverse customer base.
