Composite Design Engineer – Automotive Jobs in Sharjah, UAE at ENATA Industries FZE
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Composite Design Engineer located in the UAE. The engineer will be responsible for designing composite materials and structures, developing and implementing mechanical designs, creating product designs and utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. Day-to-day tasks will include conceptualizing new designs, conducting stress analyses, collaborating with manufacturing teams, and ensuring that designs meet project requirements and industry standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Surface modeling of composite tooling in Siemens NX12.
- Design of alloy and composite (GFRC, UHPC, CFRP, GFRP) mechanical parts.
- Design of plugs and molds from CAD parts .
- Production of part assemblies in Siemens NX12, including DOF and cinematics definition.
- Designing parts for water jet and CNC cutting.
- Follow up on the implementation of the engineering designs into the production lines, including but not limited:
- Composite lamination sheet sequence definition when required
- Production process definition when required
- Issuance of guidance drawings
- Ensures that CAD structure tree is set properly by other design engineers
- Provides support to other design engineers on advanced NX12 functions, including: assembly cinematics and DOF, parts surface modeling, mesh modeling
