Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and organized Camp Boss to oversee the daily operations of our camp facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accommodation, catering, housekeeping, maintenance, and camp services are delivered efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day camp operations and staff.
- Supervise housekeeping, catering, laundry, and maintenance services.
- Ensure camp facilities are clean, safe, and compliant with company and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate room allocations and occupancy management.
- Monitor food quality, hygiene, and inventory levels.
- Handle guest concerns and ensure excellent customer service.
- Prepare operational reports and maintain camp records.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and site management.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Camp Boss, Camp Manager, or similar hospitality/facilities management role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of camp operations, catering, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report preparation.
- Ability to work in remote locations and rotational schedules if required.
- Relevant certifications in hospitality, facilities management, or HSE are an advantage.
