CLIENT ENGAGEMENT & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

Location: Dubai, UAE (Remote/Home Based)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: AED 4,000 – AED 6,000 per month, dependent on experience

About the Role

Cedars Salon is looking for a proactive, organised and customer-focused Client Engagement & Business Development Executive to join our growing team.

This is a remote role based in the UAE, supporting our busy UK salon operation.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maximising appointment occupancy, supporting client enquiries, improving client retention and driving revenue growth.

This is not a traditional administration role. We are looking for someone who is commercially minded, confident speaking with customers and motivated by achieving results.

The successful candidate will become the first point of contact for many of our clients and will be responsible for ensuring enquiries are converted into bookings, clients are rebooked where appropriate and opportunities to maximise salon revenue are identified.

Working Hours

This role is based in the UAE but supports our UK operations.

The successful candidate will be required to work in line with the operational hours of Cedars Salon.

Typical working pattern:

  • Tuesday: 9:00am – 6:00pm (UK time)
  • Wednesday: 9:00am – 6:00pm (UK time)
  • Thursday: 9:00am – 7:00pm (UK time)
  • Friday: 9:00am – 6:00pm (UK time)
  • Saturday: 9:00am – 4:00pm (UK time)

Flexibility may occasionally be required to support business needs.

As this role supports a UK business, annual leave and public holidays will be aligned to the UK holiday calendar rather than UAE public holidays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answering incoming telephone calls and customer enquiries.
  • Managing salon bookings, cancellations and diary optimisation.
  • Rebooking existing clients and maximising future appointments.
  • Contacting lapsed clients and encouraging repeat bookings.
  • Following up website, social media and email enquiries.
  • Promoting salon offers, packages and seasonal campaigns.
  • Upselling treatments, retail products and add-on services where appropriate.
  • Managing customer queries, complaints and refund requests.
  • Supporting client retention and loyalty initiatives.
  • Maintaining accurate customer records within salon systems.
  • Working closely with the salon team to maximise occupancy and revenue.
  • Monitoring gaps in the diary and proactively filling appointment availability.
  • Supporting promotional activity and marketing campaigns.
  • Producing basic reports on bookings, enquiries and customer engagement activity.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, business development, telesales or account management.
  • Experience within the beauty, wellness or aesthetics sector.
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience using CRM, booking or customer management systems.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and online systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to sales and customer service.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Reliable internet connection and suitable home-working environment.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience using salon booking systems, particualiry Ovatu
  • Experience working remotely.
  • Experience using CRM systems
  • Social media customer service experience.
  • Previous experience in appointment setting or lead conversion.
