Job Summary:
The Cashier is responsible for handling all payment transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures. The role includes managing the cash register, ensuring guest billing accuracy, handling cash and card payments, and maintaining excellent customer service. The position supports the overall operations of the restaurant and bar, contributing to the smooth flow of service and high customer satisfaction in a luxury hospitality setting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Transactional Duties:
- Receive and process payments (cash, credit/debit cards, digital wallets) from customers for food and beverage purchases.
- Accurately manage Point of Sale (POS) systems and ensure all transactions are recorded properly.
- Issue receipts, refunds, or change due to customers.
2. Customer Service:
- Greet and interact with guests professionally and courteously during payment interactions.
- Handle guest inquiries related to bills and charges, resolving complaints promptly and in a professional manner.
3. Reconciliation and Reporting:
- Perform daily cash count and reconcile cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Prepare daily financial reports for the outlet manager or finance department as required.
- Ensure all discrepancies are reported immediately to management.
4. Compliance and Controls:
- Adhere strictly to company policies regarding financial handling.
- Follow internal control procedures and maintain data confidentiality and transaction integrity.
5. Coordination & Support:
- Work closely with service and kitchen teams to ensure order accuracy and guest satisfaction.
- Coordinate with the accounts department for remittances and reporting.
- Assist in stock-taking of cashier-related supplies (receipt rolls, stationery, etc.).
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; a Diploma in Hospitality or Business Administration is preferred.
- Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience as a cashier, preferably in a premium restaurant, bar, or luxury hospitality setting.
- Proficient in POS systems, MS Excel, and basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in English is essential; additional language(s) is a plus.

Pay: AED2,000.00 – AED2,500.00 per month
