We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our Engineering team, responsible for carrying out high-quality carpentry works that meet luxury hospitality standards. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in hotel or hospitality projects, with proven experience in woodwork installation, repairs, furniture, doors, cabinetry, and finishing, while ensuring safety, precision, and guest-area readiness. Applicants must be currently based in the UAE, possess several years of relevant experience in a similar hotel environment, and demonstrate the ability to work efficiently, maintain tools and materials properly, and collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Carpenter in the UAE hospitality industry (hotels, resorts, serviced apartments, etc.)
- Strong hands-on skills in carpentry works including furniture repair and installation, doors, wardrobes, cabinets, wooden panels, and finishing
- Experience working in luxury or high-end hotel environments with a strong focus on quality, precision, and aesthetics
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance, repairs, and renovation works within operational hotel properties
- Ability to read and interpret basic drawings, measurements, and work instructions
- Familiarity with UAE safety standards and safe work practices
- Ability to use and maintain carpentry tools, equipment, and materials properly
- Physically fit and able to perform carpentry tasks in guest and back-of-house areas
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within engineering and maintenance teams
- Good time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage
