Fit-Out Designer (FF&E)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Fit-Out Designer (FF&E) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and specifying furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) for high-end interior fit-out projects. This role requires a keen eye for detail, creativity, and a deep understanding of materials, finishes, and spatial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
FF&E Design & Selection:
Develop and present FF&E concepts, mood boards, and material palettes.
Research and specify furniture, fabrics, lighting, and accessories that align with project requirements.
Ensure selections meet design, functionality, and budgetary constraints.
Technical Drawings & Documentation:
Prepare detailed FF&E schedules, specifications, and BOQs.
Produce shop drawings, layouts, and 3D visualizations for approval.
Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for customization and procurement.
Project Coordination:
Work closely with clients, architects, project managers, and contractors.
Conduct site visits to ensure accurate installation of FF&E elements.
Resolve any design-related challenges during the fit-out phase.
Material & Trend Research:
Stay updated with the latest trends, materials, and sustainable design solutions.
Source innovative fabrics, finishes, and furniture pieces that enhance project uniqueness.
Qualifications & Skills:
Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in Dubai in FF&E selection and interior fit-out
Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and furniture design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
Ability to work within tight deadlines and budgets.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in luxury residential, commercial, or hospitality fit-out projects.
Familiarity with UAE market suppliers and manufacturers.
