Job Description
We are looking for an experienced ELV Technician with strong construction site experience to join our team in Dubai.
The candidate should have hands-on experience in ELV installation, testing, troubleshooting, and site coordination. Experience working with main contractors, MEP contractors, and consultants will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of ELV systems.
- Perform ELV cable pulling, termination, dressing, labeling, and testing.
- Read and understand ELV drawings and layouts.
- Coordinate daily work activities with the Site Engineer and project team.
- Ensure installations are completed as per approved drawings and project requirements.
- Maintain proper quality and safety standards at the construction site.
- Assist with testing, inspection, snagging, and rectification works.
- Report site progress and technical issues to the Site Engineer.
- Coordinate with other trades to avoid clashes and delays.
ELV Systems
Experience in any of the following systems is preferred:
- CCTV
- Access Control
- Structured Cabling / Data & Voice
- Wi-Fi / Networking
- Intercom
- SMATV / IPTV
- Public Address System
- Other ELV systems
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of ELV technician experience.
- Construction site experience is mandatory.
- Good hands-on knowledge of ELV installation and testing.
- Ability to read and understand ELV drawings.
- Good knowledge of cable pulling, termination, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- UAE experience will be an advantage.
- Valid UAE Driving Licence is an advantage.
- Candidates available to join immediately will be preferred.
