Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Bonds & Sukuk Analyst to join our growing team in Mesaieed. In this role, you will be responsible for researching, analyzing, and monitoring fixed-income securities, including bonds and sukuk, to support investment decisions and portfolio management strategies. You will work closely with senior analysts and investment teams to provide market insights, assess risk, and contribute to strategic recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of bond and sukuk markets, including both sovereign and corporate issuances.
- Evaluate credit ratings, interest rates, and market conditions to assess the investment potential of fixed-income securities.
- Monitor the performance of bonds and sukuk in the portfolio, identifying risks and opportunities for optimization.
- Prepare detailed reports and financial models to assess the valuation, risk, and return of potential bond and sukuk investments.
- Track macroeconomic developments, regulatory changes, and geopolitical events that may impact fixed-income markets.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers and senior analysts to develop investment strategies and recommendations for clients.
- Support the due diligence process for bond and sukuk issuances, ensuring compliance with internal investment policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide ongoing updates and insights on market trends, interest rate movements, and bond/sukuk issuance activity.
- Assist with preparing reports for senior management and clients, outlining key market trends, performance analysis, and investment recommendations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with market participants, including issuers, brokers, and credit rating agencies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in fixed-income analysis, with a focus on bonds and sukuk.
- Strong understanding of bond and sukuk markets, pricing, and investment strategies.
- Familiarity with credit rating agencies, interest rate models, and risk management techniques.
- Experience using financial analysis tools, Excel (advanced skills required), Bloomberg, or other financial data platforms.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to present complex financial data and analysis in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Fluency in English (Arabic proficiency is an added advantage).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
