Job Purpose
The Auto Denter & Painter is responsible for repairing damaged vehicle body panels, restoring vehicle structures, preparing surfaces, and applying high-quality paint finishes to company vehicles and equipment. The role ensures all repairs meet manufacturer standards, safety requirements, and company quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicles to assess body damage and determine repair requirements.
- Repair dents, damaged panels, doors, bumpers, fenders, roofs, and chassis components using appropriate denting techniques.
- Remove, replace, and align damaged body parts and accessories.
- Straighten vehicle frames using hydraulic and mechanical equipment where required.
- Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and metal fabrication for body repairs.
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, filling, masking, and priming before painting.
- Mix paint accurately to match original vehicle colors using manufacturer specifications.
- Apply primer, base coat, and clear coat using spray-painting equipment.
- Polish, buff, and finish painted surfaces to achieve a high-quality appearance.
- Inspect completed repairs for color consistency, finish quality, and structural alignment.
- Maintain painting equipment, spray guns, compressors, and workshop tools.
- Follow all workshop safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
- Keep the work area clean and dispose of paint and chemical waste according to environmental regulations.
- Record completed repair work and report any additional defects to the supervisor.
- Coordinate with mechanics and workshop staff to complete repairs within the required timeline.
Required Qualifications
- High School Certificate or equivalent.
- Technical/Vocational Certificate in Auto Body Repair, Denting, or Automotive Painting is preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Auto Denter & Painter.
- Experience with passenger cars, commercial vehicles, buses, trucks, and heavy equipment is an advantage.
Pay: QAR1,500.00 – QAR2,500.00 per month
