Architect – Site / Project Architect Jobs in Dubai at LEI Interior Design LLC
LEI Interior Design LLC is looking for an experienced and responsible Architect / Site Architect to join our team in Dubai.
The ideal candidate should have strong site experience in interior design, fit-out, and design & build projects. The candidate must be capable of managing the day-to-day flow of site activities, coordinating multiple trades, monitoring progress, and ensuring that all works are completed according to the project schedule, approved drawings, and required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise day-to-day site activities from project commencement to completion.
- Plan and manage the daily flow of work on site to ensure activities progress smoothly and according to the project schedule.
- Coordinate daily activities between civil, MEP, joinery, marble, flooring, ceiling, painting, lighting, and other specialist trades.
- Ensure subcontractors and workers are following the planned work sequence and completing assigned tasks on time.
- Monitor daily site progress and identify any delays, clashes, or issues that may affect the project schedule.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
- Review and coordinate architectural drawings, shop drawings, details, and specifications.
- Ensure site works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, and project schedules.
- Conduct regular site inspections and monitor workmanship, quality, and finishing standards.
- Prepare and submit daily site reports including work progress, manpower, materials, completed activities, and site issues.
- Plan upcoming site activities and ensure the required materials, manpower, and subcontractors are available.
- Coordinate material deliveries and ensure materials are available on site when required.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with the relevant teams for immediate resolution.
- Coordinate with the design team to ensure design intent is maintained during execution.
- Review materials, samples, mock-ups, and finishes to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Monitor subcontractors and ensure works are completed within the required quality and schedule.
- Attend site meetings and coordinate project requirements with consultants and clients.
- Coordinate with building management and relevant authorities for site requirements and approvals.
- Report daily and weekly project progress, technical issues, delays, and site concerns to management.
- Ensure proper coordination between all trades to avoid delays and rework.
- Prepare and develop 2D drawings and 3D models/renders as required for projects using AutoCAD and 3ds Max.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in architecture, interior fit-out, or design & build projects in the UAE.
- Proven site experience is mandatory, preferably in luxury residential interior fit-out projects.
- Experience in managing daily site activities and controlling the flow and sequence of work.
- Strong ability to coordinate and manage multiple subcontractors and trades on a daily basis.
- Strong knowledge of architectural drawings, detailing, materials, and interior fit-out works.
- Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
- Dubai Municipality (DM) license highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Good working knowledge of 3ds Max is required.
- Knowledge of Corona Renderer, V-Ray, or other rendering software is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of UAE construction standards, authority requirements, and building regulations.
- Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and take full responsibility for assigned site activities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishing standards.
- UAE experience is preferred.
- Experience in luxury residential interior design and fit-out projects is an advantage.
