We are looking for an Accountant to support our finance, administration, client bookkeeping, and accounting software operations. This role is ideal for someone with accounting knowledge, good organizational skills, and an interest in supporting clients with cloud accounting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records.
- Prepare invoices, purchase bills, receipts, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
- Reconcile bank, customer, supplier, and cash accounts.
- Support accounts receivable and accounts payable activities.
- Assist with payroll preparation and expense processing.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and schedules.
- Support VAT and UAE Corporate Tax compliance.
- Maintain petty cash records.
- Assist during audit and financial reporting activities.
Client Bookkeeping
- Maintain accounting records for assigned clients.
- Record daily financial transactions.
- Perform monthly reconciliations.
- Prepare financial reports.
- Assist with VAT calculations and return preparation.
- Support month-end and year-end closing.
- Communicate with clients regarding bookkeeping requirements.
Accounting Software Support
- Assist users of Zoho Books, Zoho Inventory, Zoho CRM, QuickBooks, Tally, and similar accounting software.
- Help with software setup and data migration.
- Configure customers, suppliers, items, taxes, and chart of accounts.
- Provide basic troubleshooting and user guidance.
- Deliver software demonstrations and user training when required.
- Assist with report generation and software documentation.
Administration
- Support daily administrative activities.
- Manage correspondence, filing, and document organization.
- Coordinate office supplies and vendor communications.
- Maintain attendance and leave records.
- Assist with company documentation and government-related processes.
- Schedule meetings and prepare business documents.
- Maintain company records and administrative files.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CMA, CPA, or CA Inter are an advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Experience with cloud accounting software is preferred.
- UAE accounting experience is an advantage.
