Role Responsibilities
Receive and process warehouse stock products and shipments.
Pick and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
Maintain an organized inventory by accurately sorting and storing products.
Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
Label products and packages accurately to ensure proper tracking and delivery.
Assist with inventory counts and stock audits as required.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals.
Adhere to safety protocols and warehouse policies at all times.
Report any discrepancies or issues in inventory to the supervisor.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space.
Unload incoming shipments and organize products in designated areas.
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup following shipping guidelines.
Work closely with other warehouse staff to optimize workflow and efficiency.
Assist in training new staff members on warehouse procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with basic inventory management software is a plus.
Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a warehouse setting.
Basic math skills for inventory counting and order processing.
Previous experience operating pallet jacks and other material handling equipment preferred.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing demands.
Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
