Waitress/Russian Speaker Jobs in Doha, Qatar at Minor International
Position: Waitress (Russian Speaker)
Under the general direction of the F&B Manager and Outlet Manager, and within the limits of established Hotel Policies and Procedures, oversees and directs the day-to-day operation of the Food & Beverage Department, maintaining the overall efficiency of standards set and promoting a positive work environment.
Provide courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service at all times, following Standards of Performance.
Be flexible and adapt to rotate within different sub-departments of the Food & Beverage Division or other departments as assigned.
Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Undertake secondary duties as assigned by the Assistant Manager and supervisor.
Perform opening and closing procedures as assigned.
Have thorough knowledge of all food and beverage items on the menu, with the ability to recommend combinations and upsell alternatives.
Provide high standards of quality and efficient/friendly service as per Standard Operating Procedures.
Ensure the work area is kept clean and organized at all times.
Handle guest inquiries courteously and efficiently.
Establish good rapport with guests and maintain strong customer relationships.
Monitor operating supplies, reduce spoilage and wastage.
Report guest complaints or problems to supervisors and follow up with guests.
Assist in conducting inventory of operating equipment periodically.
Report punctually for duty, wearing the correct uniform and maintaining personal appearance and hygiene standards.
Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service consistently.
Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and other departments.
Read and understand the hotel’s Employee Handbook and adhere to policies, including Fire, Hygiene, Health, and Safety regulations.
Be flexible to extend job duties, including redeployment to other departments if required, to meet business needs and guest service standards.

Qualifications
Previous experience in Food & Beverage/Restaurant operations (freshers are welcome).
Passion for excellent service.
