The Vendor Alliances Executive/ Channel Partnerships Executive supports the identification, acquisition, and management of strategic technology vendor partnerships across Tier 1 and Tier 2 segments. This role assists in driving revenue growth through new vendor onboarding, pipeline development, event coordination, and MDF/funding administration while building relationships at various stakeholder levels. The ideal candidate is early in their career with foundational IT distribution knowledge, strong commercial instincts, and eagerness to grow within channel sales or alliance management.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Sign and onboard Tier 1 global enterprise vendors (Cisco, Microsoft, HPE, Dell, Palo Alto, Fortinet, VMware, AWS, SAP) with 50M+ revenue potential and strategic partnership scope.
  • Sign and onboard Tier 2 established regional/specialty vendors (Poly, Yealink, Neat, Jabra, Barco, Shure, BenQ, Vertiv) targeting mid-market opportunities (30-50M).
  • Maintain an active pipeline of 20+ potential vendors under evaluation for future onboarding.

Vendor Management & CRM

  • Maintain a comprehensive vendor contact database, partnership status tracking, and contract renewal calendar.
  • Achieve 100% current vendor mapping through online research, meeting scheduling, and structured follow-up cadence.

Events & Funding

  • Negotiate, plan, and anchor 40+ vendor roadshows, partner summits, and customer roundtables per year.
  • Secure marketing development funds (MDF), co-investment programs, and rebate structures from vendor partners.

Strategic Engagement

  • Drive C-level engagement with vendors and key partners; build and sustain high-touch strategic relationships.
  • Develop annual vendor acquisition strategy, territory expansion plans, and competitive positioning frameworks.

Collateral & Proposals

  • Manage vendor presentations, demo capabilities, and experience center operations (Strategy Kit & Experience Center).
  • Develop and maintain versatile, ready-to-deploy templates for vendor partnership proposals and business case presentations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 2-5 years in IT Distribution, Vendor Management, Channel Sales, Alliance Management, or Business Development (junior/entry-level capacity acceptable).
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the IT channel ecosystem, distribution models, and vendor partner programs (OEM/VAD/VAR structures).
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to engage and influence C-level and senior stakeholders at global technology vendors.
  • Commercial Acumen: Experience with MDF negotiations, rebate programs, co-marketing budgets, and revenue-driven partnership models.
  • Pipeline Management: Skilled in CRM tools and structured pipeline tracking; comfortable managing 20+ concurrent vendor evaluations.
  • Event Management: Hands-on experience planning or anchoring partner events, roadshows, or summits at scale.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written English; able to craft compelling proposals, business cases, and executive presentations.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to build annual business plans, map competitive landscapes, and identify whitespace opportunities.
  • Self-Starter: Comfortable operating independently, managing multiple priorities, and learning quickly in a fast-paced distribution environment.
  • Growth Mindset: Eager to develop vendor management expertise, take on increasing responsibility, and grow into a senior partnerships role.

Preferred Experience:

  • Existing relationships with Tier 1 or Tier 2 IT vendors in the MEA region.
  • Experience with experience center or demo lab management.
  • Background in territory expansion or new market entry for distribution business.
